1) ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಆದೇಶ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಕೇರಳ, ಮಣಿಪುರ, ಬಿಹಾರ್, ಮಿಜೋರಾಂ, ಮತ್ತು ಓಡಿಸಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನೂತನ ರಾಜಪಾಲರ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ
New Governors have been appointed for the states of Kerala, Manipur, Bihar, Mizoram and Odisha by the President's order.
ಒಡಿಶಾ, ಕೇರಳ, ಮಿಜೋರಾಂ, ಮಣಿಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಹಾರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಐದು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ನೇಮಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಮುರ್ಮು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜುಲೈ 2021 ರಿಂದ ಮಿಜೋರಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಡಾ.ಹರಿಬಾಬು ಕಂಬಂಪತಿ ಅವರು ರಘುಬರ್ ದಾಸ್ ಅವರ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಡಿಶಾದ ಹೊಸ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಗೃಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಅಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಭಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ಮಣಿಪುರದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ವಿಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಿಜೋರಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಅರ್ಲೇಕರ್ ಕೇರಳದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೇರಳದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಆರಿಫ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರು ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪುನರ್ರಚನೆಯು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮುರ್ಮು ಅವರ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
December 25th 2024 Current Affairs : President Droupadi Murmu has implemented significant changes in the appointment of Governors for five states, including Odisha, Kerala, Mizoram, Manipur, and Bihar. Dr. Haribabu Kambhampati, who served as the Governor of Mizoram since July 2021, has been appointed as the new Governor of Odisha, succeeding Raghubar Das. Former Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla takes charge as Governor of Manipur, while Vijay Kumar Singh has been appointed Governor of Mizoram. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar becomes the Governor of Kerala, and Mohammad Arif Khan, previously Kerala’s Governor, assumes the role in Bihar. The reshuffle reflects President Murmu’s strategic vision for governance.

This scheme, starting as a pilot project at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, aims to offer passengers affordable refreshments. The initiative was proposed after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha highlighted the issue in Parliament during the winter session, emphasizing the need to ease the financial burden on air travelers. By combating exorbitant costs of essentials like water, tea, and snacks, the initiative aims to enhance passenger satisfaction, with plans for expansion to other AAI-run airports.

December 25th 2024 Current Affairs : The prestigious Rohini Nayyar Award 2024 has been awarded to Anil Pradhan of Bhubaneswar-based Young Tinker Foundation for his remarkable contributions to rural development in India. Instituted in 2022 in memory of Dr. Rohini Nayyar, a renowned economist and Padma Shri awardee, this annual honor recognizes individuals under 40 for their exceptional work in rural upliftment. The award, which includes a cash prize, was presented at the Indian International Centre by RA Mashelkar, former CSIR Director General, along with environmentalist Ashok Khosla and economist Deepak Nayyar. Previous recipients include Dinanath Rajput (2023) from Chhattisgarh and Setrichem Sangtam (2022) from Nagaland.
