On February 25, 2025, an Indian Navy Sea King Helicopter showcased its ability to strike a ship target using this advanced missile. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the teams for the successful test. The missile, equipped with an indigenous imaging infra-red seeker, achieved a direct hit in sea-skimming mode. ಕಾರ್ಬನ್ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ 2025, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24-25, 2025 ರಂದು ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು, ಇದು ಭಾರತದ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂಧನ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯೂರೋ ಆಫ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿ ಎಫಿಷಿಯನ್ಸಿ (BEE) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಈವೆಂಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಇಂಗಾಲದ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಬನ್ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಟ್ರೆಂಡ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲು ನೀತಿ ನಿರೂಪಕರು, ಉದ್ಯಮ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಜ್ಞರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 600+ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿತು. ಶ್ರೀ ಆಕಾಶ್ ತ್ರಿಪಾಠಿ, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಬನ್ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯ (ICM) ಹಂತ ಹಂತದ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು, 2027 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ 40% ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆ ಕಡಿತ ಮತ್ತು 2030 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಕಾರ್ಬನ್ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶುದ್ಧ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power, the event brought together 600+ delegates, including policymakers, industry leaders, and international experts, to discuss India’s carbon market and global carbon credit trends. Shri Akash Tripathi, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, outlined the phased implementation of the Indian Carbon Market (ICM), targeting a 40% emission reduction by 2027 and full execution by 2030, enabling carbon credit trading and fostering clean energy transition.
