ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸಮುದಾಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ (APCNF) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೃಷಿ, ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾವಯವ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ Calouste Gulbenkian ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ನಿಂದ £1 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. APCNF, ಲಾಭರಹಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ರೈತ ಸಧಿಕಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (RySS) ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದು, ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 500,000 ಹೆಕ್ಟೇರ್ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಸಣ್ಣ ಹಿಡುವಳಿದಾರ ರೈತರನ್ನು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಕೃಷಿಯಿಂದ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಅನ್ವಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೃಷಿಯನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಹಾರ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ಹವಾಮಾನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಸ್ಥಾಪಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ APCNF ನ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಹುಮಾನದ ಹಣವನ್ನು APCNF ನ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಕೃಷಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.APCNF ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು 2016 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಧ್ರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕವಾಗಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಕೃಷಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾವಯವ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಹಿಡುವಳಿದಾರರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಆಹಾರ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ಹವಾಮಾನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಸ್ಥಾಪಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
July 14th 2024 Current Affairs : The Andhra Pradesh Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) program led by the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been awarded a £1 million prize by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for its outstanding contributions to sustainable agriculture, natural farming and organic farming. APCNF, a non-profit organization implemented by Farmers’ Empowerment Organization (RySS), has successfully converted over one million smallholder farmers, mostly women, from chemical farming to natural farming practices on 500,000 hectares of land in Andhra Pradesh. Through scientific research and practical applications, it aims to advance sustainable agriculture, food security, climate resilience and The award recognizes APCNF’s collaborative efforts in promoting ecosystem protection. The prize money will be used to enhance APCNF’s initiatives and promote sustainable agriculture projects globally. The APCNF program was launched in 2016 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to support smallholders in transitioning from chemically intensive agriculture to organic agriculture. The program has been recognized for its significant contributions to global food security, climate resilience and ecosystem protection.

ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ (JNU) ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಡಿಕ್ ಸ್ಟಡೀಸ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳು, ಬೌದ್ಧ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜೈನ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ (NEP) 2020 ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಮೇ 29, 2024 ರಂದು JNU ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಿದೆ. ಹೊಸ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಇಂಡಿಕ್ ಸ್ಟಡೀಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟತೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ದೆಹಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಬೌದ್ಧ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬರುವ ಬೌದ್ಧಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಂತಹ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅಂದಾಜು ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 35 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.
July 14th 2024 Current Affairs : Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) to establish centers of Hindu Studies, Buddhist Studies and Jain Studies under the School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies. The decision was approved by JNU Executive Council on May 29, 2024 as part of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Indian Knowledge System initiatives. The new centers will promote research and academic excellence in Indic Studies, complementing existing efforts such as the Department of Buddhist Studies at Delhi University and the upcoming Center for Advanced Studies in Buddhism, at an estimated cost of Rs 35 crore by the government.

July 14th 2024 Current Affairs : India’s first mega transshipment container terminal, the APEZ deep sea port at Vizhinjam, Kerala, has been inaugurated as a world-class transshipment hub in the Indian subcontinent. The port received its first vessel ‘San Fernando’, a container ship operated by the world’s second largest shipping company Maersk, marking a significant milestone in India’s maritime history on July 11. Vizhinjam Port, 16 km south of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is an international port close to national and regional road and rail connectivity. -Strategically located near the western shipping route. Development of the port began in 2015 when Adani Vizhinjam Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government of Kerala, undertook the construction and operation of the port under a 40-year contract with an investment of around 7,525 crore.
