ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡತನದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವು 2011-12 ರಲ್ಲಿ 21.2% ರಿಂದ 2022-24 ರಲ್ಲಿ 8.5% ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದಿದೆ.ಈ ಕುಸಿತವು ಭಾರತ ಮಾನವ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ (IHDS) ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ವೇವ್ 3 ರ ಡೇಟಾವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ.2004-05 ಮತ್ತು 2011-12 ರ ನಡುವೆ ಬಡತನದ ಜನರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 38.6 ರಿಂದ 21.2 ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು 2011-12 ಮತ್ತು 2022-24 ರ ನಡುವೆ 8.5 ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯಿತು.ರೀಥಿಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಸೇಫ್ಟಿ ನೆಟ್ಸ್ ಇನ್ ಎ ಚೇಂಜಿಂಗ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಎನ್‌ಸಿಎಇಆರ್‌ನ ಸೋನಾಲ್ಡೆ ದೇಸಾಯಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಗ್ರಾಹಕ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡತನವು 5% ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು NITI ಆಯೋಗ್ ಸಿಇಒ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಸ್ಯಾಂಪಲ್ ಸರ್ವೇ ಆಫೀಸ್ (NSSO) ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24 ರಂದು 2022-23 ರ ಗೃಹ ಬಳಕೆಯ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಡೇಟಾವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿತು, ಇದು 2011-12 ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ 2022-23 ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಮನೆಯ ವೆಚ್ಚವು ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ.
July 6th 2024 Current Affairs :The poverty rate in India has declined from 21.2% in 2011-12 to 8.5% in 2022-24. This decline is based on data from the newly completed Wave 3 of the India Human Development Survey (IHDS). fell to 21.2 and between 2011-12 and 2022-24 to 8.5. The paper titled ‘Rethinking Social Safety Nets in a Changing Society’ was authored by Sonalde Desai of NCAER. The latest Consumer Expenditure Survey showed that poverty in the country has come down to 5%, NITI Aayog CEO said. The National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) on February 24 released household consumption expenditure data for 2022-23, which showed that per capita monthly household expenditure has doubled in 2022-23 compared to 2011-12.

UNESCO ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯ 46 ನೇ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಭಾರತದ ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜುಲೈ 21-31, 2024 ರಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಭಾರತ್ ಮಂಡಪಂ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು, ಸಲಹಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಹಿರಿಯ ರಾಜತಾಂತ್ರಿಕರು, ಪರಂಪರೆ ತಜ್ಞರು, ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು ಮತ್ತು 195 ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ 2,500 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಯುನೆಸ್ಕೋ ಜನರಲ್ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿಯಿಂದ ಚುನಾಯಿತವಾದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಸಮಾವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ (1972) 21 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ನೆರವು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಅರ್ಜೆಂಟೀನಾ, ಬೆಲ್ಜಿಯಂ, ಬಲ್ಗೇರಿಯಾ, ಗ್ರೀಸ್, ಭಾರತ, ಇಟಲಿ, ಜಮೈಕಾ, ಜಪಾನ್, ಕಝಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ್, ಕೀನ್ಯಾ, ಲೆಬನಾನ್, ಮೆಕ್ಸಿಕೋ, ಕತಾರ್, ರಿಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಕೊರಿಯಾ, ರುವಾಂಡಾ, ಸೇಂಟ್ ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರೆನಡೀನ್ಸ್, ಸೆನೆಗಲ್, ಟರ್ಕಿಯೆ , ಉಕ್ರೇನ್, ವಿಯೆಟ್ನಾಂ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಂಬಿಯಾ.
July 6th 2024 Current Affairs : The 46th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee will be held in New Delhi, India from July 21-31, 2024. The event will be held at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The session will be attended by State Parties, consultative bodies, senior diplomats, heritage experts, scholars and more than 2,500 delegates from 195 countries. .The World Heritage Committee consists of representatives from 21 States Parties to the World Heritage Convention (1972) elected by the UNESCO General Assembly. The Committee is responsible for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention and receives financial assistance from the World Heritage Fund. The current members of the Committee are Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Italy, Jamaica. , Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and Zambia.
