ಪರಿಸರ ಸಚಿವರಾದಂತಹ ಈಶ್ವರ ಖಂಡ್ರೆ ಅವರು ಜೂನ್ 26ರಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚಿರತೆ ಸಫಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ಜೈವಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು 20 ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಫಾರಿಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರವು ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಡೀ 20 ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು 4.5 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರದ ಚೈನ್ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಜಾಲರಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತೆರೆದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 8 ಚಿರುತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಫಾರಿಕೆ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 4.5 ಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಎಸ್ ಶೀಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು 1.5 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರವಿರುವ 30 ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಇಳಿಜಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಿರತೆಗಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರದಂತೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚಿರತೆ ಸಫಾರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ 8 ಚಿರತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದ ವನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಾರಿಗೆ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
June 29th 2024 Current Affairs : Environment Minister Ishwar Khandre inaugurated South India’s first and the country’s largest leopard safari at the Bannerghatta Biological Park near Bangalore on June 26. The Central Zoo Authority has indicated that an area of around 20 acres has been fenced off for the safari. The entire 20 acre area has been fitted with 4.5 meter high chain link netting. 8 leopards are released in the open forest area. It is being constructed at a total cost of 4.5 crores, in which MS sheets are installed at a height of 1.5 meters at a 30 degree slope to prevent leopards from coming out. It is the first leopard safari in South India and the largest in the country, currently 8 leopards are released for safari in the open forest area.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪುರೋಹಿತ ಕಪಿಲ್ ದೇವ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಗಾಲ್ಫ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸ (ಪಿಜಿಟಿಐ) ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.1983ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪುರುಷರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಏಕದಿನ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ನೆಡೆಸಿದ ಕಪಿಲ್ ದೇವ್, ಹಿಂದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಜಿಟಿಐ (ಭಾರತೀಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಗಾಲ್ಫ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸ) ನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ನಂತರ ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಗಾಲ್ಫ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ಆಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಕಪಿಲ್ ದೇವ್, ಏಕಮತದಿಂದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡರು.65 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಕಪಿಲ್ ದೇವ್, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಹುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಪಿಜಿಟಿಐಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗೊಂಡರು.ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಕಪಿಲ್ ದೇವ್, “ನಾನು ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ಗಾಲ್ಫ್ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ನಾನು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿದೆ. ಶೌಕೀಯ ಆಟಗಾರನಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನು, ಈ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಂತಹ ಮಹಾನ್ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಆಟಗಾರರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಆಟಗಾರರು ನನ್ನ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
June 29th 2024 Current Affairs : Indian cricket priest Kapil Dev has taken over as the President of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). Kapil Dev, who led the Indian men’s cricket team to a historic ODI World Cup win in 1983, was previously the Vice-President of the PGTI (Professional Golf Tour of India). After retiring from cricket, he aspires to represent India in Asian Games golf. Kapil Dev was unanimously elected as President. After accepting the post of President, 65-year-old Kapil Dev resolved to serve PGTI with full commitment. Expressing his happiness after being elected as President, Kapil Dev said, “I have been associated with this golf organization for a few years. Served as Board Member and Vice President. “Then, I am happy to be elected as the president. Being an amateur player, I have a great respect for this organization. It is a good player’s organization,” he said.

ಮಾವುತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂತಾನೋತ್ಪತ್ತಿ (ಸರೊಗಸಿ) ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಗ 180 ದಿನಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ತಾಯ್ತನ ರಜೆ (ಮೌಲಿಕೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ತಾಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ) ಮತ್ತು 15 ದಿನಗಳ ಪಿತೃತ್ವ ರಜೆ (ಮೌಲಿಕೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ) ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ.ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ (ರಜೆ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 1972 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಯಾಗಿ, ಸರೊಗಸಿ ಬಳಸುವ ತಾಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಈಗ 180 ದಿನಗಳ ತಾಯ್ತನ ರಜೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ, ಎರಡು ಮರೆತ ಮಗುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರುವ ತಾಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪರಿಪಾಲನಾ ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಿಂದಿನ 50 ವರ್ಷದ ನಿಯಮದಿಂದ ಹೊರಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಸರೊಗಸಿ ತಂದೆಯರಾಗಿ ಇರುವ, ಎರಡು ಮರೆತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಪುರುಷ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು, ಮಗು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ 15 ದಿನಗಳ ಪಿತೃತ್ವ ರಜೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಎರಡು ಮರೆತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರುವ ತಾಯಂದಿರಿಗೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಯ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪರಿಪಾಲನಾ ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.ಸರೊಗಸಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಮಗು ಬಾರದ ದಂಪತಿಯು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಸಾಕುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಸರೊಗಸಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮೊತ್ತ ಅಥವಾ ಶುಕ್ರಾಣು ದಾನಿಯಿಂದ ಪಡೆದ ಶುಕ್ರಾಣು ಬಳಸಿ ಮಗು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.
June 29th 2024 Current Affairs : An extended maternity leave of 180 days (for eligible mothers) and 15 days of paternity leave (for eligible fathers) is now available to government employees involved in surrogacy. As a major amendment in the Central Civil Service (Leave) Rules, 1972, mothers using surrogacy are now 180 days maternity leave. Leave is granted. The amendment extends parental leave to mothers with fewer than two orphaned children, going away from the earlier 50-year rule. Male government employees who are surrogate fathers and have fewer than two orphaned children are entitled to 15 days paternity leave within six months from the date of birth of the child. Mothers with fewer than two orphaned children can get parental leave as per the amended rules. Surrogacy is the process by which a childless couple impregnates another woman and raises that child.
