ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು 87ನೇ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ಮಂಡ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 20, 21, ಮತ್ತು 23 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. ಖ್ಯಾತ 94 ವರ್ಷದ ಜಾನಪದ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸ ಗೋ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಚನ್ನಬಸಪ್ಪ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 1992 ರಿಂದ 1995 ರವರೆಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ 18 ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಚನ್ನಬಸಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ, ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಧೋಳದಲ್ಲಿ 62, 63 ಮತ್ತು 64 ನೇ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪಥ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗೂರು ನಾಗಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಗೀತೆಗಳಂತಹ ಕೃತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಅವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮೊದಲ ಜಾನಪದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೊಡ್ಡರಂಗೇಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2023ರ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಹಾವೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
November 22nd 2024 Current Affairs : The Kannada Sahitya Parishad has announced the 87th All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, set to take place in Mandya on December 20, 21, and 23. Renowned 94-year-old folklorist and scholar Go.R. Channabasappa has been elected as the event’s president. Channabasappa, who served as the 18th president of the Kannada Sahitya Parishad from 1992 to 1995, successfully organized the 62nd, 63rd, and 64th Sahitya Sammelanas in Koppal, Mandya, and Mudhol. Known for works like Karnataka Pragatipatha and Baguru Nagamma Grama Geetagalu, he also played a key role in establishing Karnataka’s first Folklore University. The 2023 Sammelana was held in Haveri, presided over by Doddarange Gowda.

With an AQI of just 37, Vijayapura leads the state in clean air, followed by Bagalkot in second place and Chamarajanagar in third. Bengaluru and Hubballi also recorded comfortable air quality levels, with indices of 96 and 138, respectively. In contrast, Delhi continues to grapple with severe air pollution, exceeding an AQI of 500. The state has already attracted ₹54,427 crore in investments, with an additional ₹19,059 crore assured. Recent data from the Department of Industry and Domestic Trade Promotion highlights Karnataka’s achievement of securing ₹19,059 crore in foreign direct investment (FDI) during the first quarter, second only to Maharashtra, which leads with ₹70,795 crore. Karnataka is projected to attract over ₹73,000 crore in total investments. Nationally, FDI during this period totaled ₹1,34,959 crore, with Maharashtra accounting for 52.46%, followed by Karnataka, Delhi, Telangana, and Gujarat.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ (ಕೆಎಂಎಫ್) ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಹಾಲು ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ನಂದಿನಿ ಹಾಲು ಮತ್ತು ಡೈರಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ನಂತರ ಎರಡನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ 92-93 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲೀಟರ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕ್ಷೀರಧಾರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪ್ರತಿ ಲೀಟರ್‌ಗೆ ₹ 32 ರಂತೆ ಹಾಲು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಲೀಟರ್‌ಗೆ ₹ 5 ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಧನ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ 16 ಹಾಲು ಒಕ್ಕೂಟಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ 2.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲೀಟರ್ ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೊಸದಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭಿಕವಾಗಿ 2.5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲೀಟರ್ ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲೀಟರ್‌ಗೆ ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಡೈರಿ ವಿತರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
November 22nd 2024 Current Affairs : The Karnataka Milk Producers’ Federation (KMF) and Mandya District Cooperative Milk Union have launched Nandini milk and dairy products in New Delhi. Karnataka, ranked second in milk production after Gujarat, produces 92–93 lakh liters daily. Under the Ksheerdhare scheme, the government offers a ₹5 per liter incentive to farmers, who sell milk at ₹32 per liter. With 16 milk unions statewide, Karnataka supplies 2.5 lakh liters daily to Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. Plans are underway to supply 2.5 lakh liters to New Delhi initially, aiming to double it to 5 lakh liters in six months, bolstering dairy distribution nationwide.
